Time of Service Pricing

Time of Service pricing was developed for our many patients who have no insurance or an insurance that we do not accept. Time of Service (TOS) is a reduced payment fee schedule for patients who pay at the time of service. These rates are 15 - 40% lower than our normal fees and were instituted as a means to promote easier access to obtain medical care. The cost barriers have been significantly reduced. The only requirement is that patients pay the entire visit costs at the time they receive medical services. If the patient does not pay for the entire amount due for that day's services at the Time of Service, it negates the TOS fee schedule and normal fees will be billed to their account. We have a TOS price for every possible procedure we do in the office.

To give you a little history; In 2000 Complete Care Center probably had approximately 100 patients in the practice without health insurance. In 2003, this number had grown to more than 1200 patients within our practice who had no health insurance. As a result, we were treating more patients who were critically ill and were hospital admissable cases because they had delayed medical treatment. We needed to develop some sort of deep discount pricing for these patients to help remove the barriers that kept them from coming in for treatment. We went to our legal council and were able to develop a discount pricing system that we could legally offer to everyone if they paid at time of service. Late in 2003 we rolled out the new Time Of Service pricing and we have had so many thankful and genuinely appreciative patients and families that have participated.
