About Us

Background
After twenty years in the emergency department, Dr. Roland Tindle, DO, President and CEO of Complete Care Center, felt that 95% of all the cases in the ED could be more efficiently seen in an "acute care center" and free up the true trauma teams to handle the major emergencies. To put in perspective, an acute care center offers more comprehensive medical services than an urgent care center, though somewhat less than a hospital emergency department. Complete Care Center is the only facility of this nature in the State of Michigan. One of our missions is to do everything we can to keep you out of the emergency department.

Insurance
We will gladly bill most insurance plans. However, we may not be considered a “preferred provider” on your particular plan, which means your insurance may not pay the full amount or you may have different deductibles.  You are encouraged to contact your insurance company (the number should be on the back of your card) to inquire about your specific benefits.  However insurance companies are very evasive in not obligating themselves in paying for anything.  They change their rules almost monthly.  Therefore, please communicate with us and your insurance company to keep our surprises to a minimum.

No Insurance? OR insurance we don't participate with? We can still see you! We have special reduced Time of Service pricing for patients in this situation. A special HealthSharePlan Membership product is also available

Hospital Affiliations
We admit to all three local hospitals - Genesys, McLaren, and Hurley, whichever is best for your medical problem or your preference.  Every hospital is unique and is not necessarily the best in every medical specialty.  Due to the aggressiveness of our practice at Complete Care Center, we found that aggressively managing patients in the hospital was humanly impossible.  Therefore, we were the first in the area and others have followed in utilizing “hospitalist” physicians to manage our admissions within the hospital.  These “Hospitalists” are a specific small group at each hospital that we feel is the best at managing our most ill patients.  These hospitalists communicate with us frequently and update each patient's plan of care.  Further, as we are independent (not owned by any hospital), we are able to admit and consult, (without any administrative interference or repercussions) to any other medical facility in or outside of the state that would be most appropriate for your medical problem.  We feel this is a huge benefit in the patient-doctor relationship that is being methodically eroded.

Your Office Visit
To minimize wait time, please call ahead for an appointment. We will first get a little patient information and history from you, and then check with our provider’s schedule.  Once you have been accepted as a new patient, we will schedule you at the first available appointment time with your new provider.  Walk-in visits are available for patients with acute illness or injuries during all normal office hours. If you have an acute problem (something that needs to be addressed that day), we will get you in with the first available provider, usually that same day, and then you can see your Complete Care Center primary doctor at your next visit. Bring your insurance card and Driver's License with you and any past medical history that may be pertinent. Your initial office visit time can be shortened by going online and downloading and completing the new patient forms prior to arrival
